The Grade Point Average (GPA) of a student is a calculation which reflects the overall grade of a student. It is based on units completed at Macquarie University and does not take into account credit points granted for credit for previous studies ie. designated credit (SIBT and Non-award studies).

For an official calculation of GPA please consult Pages 44-45 of the Undergraduate Handbook 2008 or obtain an academic transcript.
